Can I change my reservations?
Definitely! We understand that your plans may change. You can change your tour start date up to 10 days before original tour start date at no cost. However, within 10 days of your tour starting, the itinerary is non-changeable.
Can I cancel my reservations?
Yes. Reservations can be cancelled up to 7 days after purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. After 7 days and up to 10 days before tour start date, any cancellation requires a $50 fee per reservation. Within 10 days, the trip is non-refundable.
Can I book multiple tours within a single entry into China?
No. Unfortunately, in order to offer you these amazing prices, the Chinese partners limit tourists to only participation in one tour per entry into China. You are welcome to book additional tours if you will be re-entering China at a later date. Also, you'll need to commence your tour within 5 days of arrival in China.
Are prices different for adults and children?
Yes. Children older than 2 years of age who share a bed with an adult can get a discounted price. Children ages 2 or younger, if they share a bed, are free with any accompanying adult. Children, regardless of age, who have their own beds will need to pay the full price. When purchasing, please exclude any children ages 2 or younger from the order, but please include a note during checkout.
What cities do PandaTrail provide tours to?
We are always expanding our tour offerings. Currently, we have tours to Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, and Hangzhou.
How do I book flights?
For international flights, most people will fly into Beijing (PEK) or Shanghai (PVG). Please check the tour itinerary.

Tip: If you are traveling to multiple cities, such as with 9 Day Beijing-Shanghai Odyssey, it's usually cheaper to book a multi-city flight such as arrival in Beijing (PEK) and departure from Shanghai (PVG).

How do I book travel with PandaTrail?
We believe that booking travel should be easy. Just select the options for the tour package, click Buy Now, and pay with your credit card. We'll contact you to confirm your reservation and answer any questions.

Do I need a Visa to travel to China?
Yes, all foreign nationals traveling to China need valid passports with at least six (6) months remaining validity after the entry date into China. A tourist visa must be obtained prior to entering China. You can apply via a local Chinese embassy or have us take care of the visa for you. What are the policies regarding free transportation from/to hotel?
We offer complimentary transportation between airport and hotel at these times: for arrivals between 2PM and 10PM and departures between 8AM and noon. We do not provide transportation outside of these hours or between hotel and train station. However, taxis are very convenient.

PandaTrail is a joint venture between Perfect Transportation and Travel Services Inc. ("PTS Travel") and Seattle May Travel. Both are reputable U.S. based travel companies with over 30 years of combined experience. During the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, more than 15,000 foreign tourists attended the 8 Day Shanghai Region Journey and the satisfaction rate was 99%.
Is PandaTrail site secure?
Yes. PandaTrail is secured by GeoTrust, see the logo at the bottom of the page. Sites secured by GeoTrust SSL certificates are providing up to 256 bit encryption thereby offering the highest level of encryption and security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications between your browser and this site's web servers are private and secure.
Is travel liability insurance included?
Yes! Travel liability insurance within China is included for each trip. The coverage amount is $30,000 USD per trip.
If I wish to extend my trip before and/or after the tour, do you offer accommodations?
Yes! We can help you find the best deals using our network of hotels. Please contact us.
Are there space limitations per tour?
Yes. In order to provide the best customer experience, we maintain a limit on number of travelers per tour group.
What should I do if I have a large group?
If you have a large group with more than 25+ travelers, please contact us so we can provide you with additional information and group discount.
