Day 1, Thursday - Relax
Meet your personal local guide before relaxing and enjoying your first evening in the nation's capital. We recommend arriving in Beijing on Thursday between 2PM-10PM local time, so we can provide you with free airport-hotel transfer. Outside of these hours, we recommend taking a taxi which is very convenient.

Day 2, Friday - Discover Royalty
Visit the largest public square in the world – Tiananmen Square. Walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace and view one of the world's greatest cultural heritage sites at the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties ruled the Middle Kingdom for nearly 500 years. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Pearl Museum. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk around Summer Palace, known for the largest imperial garden in China. In the evening, savor a specially prepared meal of Peking Duck cooked to crispy perfection.

Day 3, Saturday - Explore a World Wonder
After breakfast, recapture the welcoming spirit of the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the two of its most iconic and magnificent venues - the Bird's Nest (Beijing National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center) where Michael Phelps achieved 8 gold medals in stunning fashion. In the afternoon, we take you on a scenic drive through the countryside to China's most renowned landmark - The Great Wall. It is most famous for its ancient defensive walls used to ward off enemies from the north. On the way back, take a look inside the Jade Museum, the largest of its kind in the world. Back in the city, enjoy a relaxing foot massage followed by dinner and the fascinating Acrobatics Show.

Day 4, Sunday - Get Your Culture On
In the morning, visit the Beijing Vocational Institute of Local Opera and Arts and get to know more about the culture and history of Beijing Opera. Then, take a tour of the 570-year-old Qianmen Dashilan, the first and oldest commercial street in Beijing. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, a celestial monument built in 1420 where emperors went to worship heaven. Last, we stop for a chance to shop for men and women’s fashion at Yuanlong Silk. Dinner will be a western-style buffet.

Day 5, Monday - Get Immersed
After breakfast, there will be Taichi lessons that teach the essence of Yin and Yang (the flow of the universe). Then visit the Capital Museum which contains over 200,000 cultural relics and archaeological artifacts from ancient Beijing. Shortly after, experience the world of Beijing's Hutong via rickshaws to tour the maze-like alleyways and neighborhood residences. This network of courtyard homes and narrow lanes traditionally linked the Old City. This unique tour concludes with a delicious meal served at a Beijing residence home. In the afternoon, enjoy a tea ceremony followed by a visit to Silk Street.
